The BASIC Fund

The BASIC Fund is a privately funded non-profit organization located in Oakland, California. Established in 1998, the organization employs 18 people and generates $5.5 million in annual revenue. The BASIC Fund focuses on expanding educational opportunities for low-income children in the San Francisco Bay Area. They achieve this by providing scholarships to allow children to attend PreK-8 schools of their choice.
