The American Civil Rights Union

The American Civil Rights Union (ACRU) is a small non-profit organization based in Alexandria, Virginia, with four employees. The ACRU is dedicated to protecting the civil rights of all Americans by advocating for a Constitutional understanding of fundamental rights and freedoms. The ACRU's primary focus is on monitoring and countering organizations that it believes threaten the US Constitution. They actively engage in legal challenges by filing amicus briefs in important civil rights cases. Additionally, the ACRU utilizes print, broadcast media, and the internet to defend the Constitution and promote its interpretation.
