Texas Tech University School of Financial Planning

Texas Tech University School of Financial Planning is a small academic institution located in Lubbock, Texas, with a team of five employees. The School provides a comprehensive range of financial planning coursework, encompassing approximately 30 undergraduate and 40 graduate-level courses. Their offerings extend beyond traditional majors, with eight courses designed to elevate financial literacy for non-majors. Texas Tech University School of Financial Planning is distinguished as the only CFP Board-Registered University to offer degrees at the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. levels. They also provide graduate certificates in specialized areas such as Personal Finance, Charitable Financial Planning, and Life-Centered Financial Planning. An 18-hour minor in Personal Finance is also available. Uniquely, Texas Tech offers an advanced bachelor's-to-master's track, enabling students to seamlessly earn both a B.S. and M.S. degree in a single program.
