Texas Dental Association

The Texas Dental Association (TDA) is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1871, the TDA is the third largest state dental association in the United States, with over 9,000 members. The Association is comprised of 26 component dental societies grouped into 4 divisions across the state. The TDA serves dentists across Texas through various initiatives and resources. These include policy recommendations, advocacy efforts, continuing education programs, and the publication of the Texas Dental Journal, the oldest continuously operating dental periodical in the Americas. The TDA's structure is comprised of a Board of Directors, a House of Delegates, and numerous councils and committees. These bodies work together to address issues affecting the dental profession and advocate for the interests of dentists in Texas.
