Tewksbury First Aid Rescue Squad

Tewksbury First Aid Rescue Squad is a volunteer-run organization based in Califon, New Jersey. Comprised of about 25 active volunteers, the Squad provides emergency medical services to the residents and guests of Tewksbury Township. Established in 1990, their dedication to prehospital care has spanned over two decades. The Squad offers a range of services, including Basic Life Support, extrication during motor vehicle accidents, and various other rescue operations. They operate two Basic Life Support units, two First Responder vehicles, an off-road rescue/transport Gator, and a dedicated Rescue Unit. Tewksbury First Aid Rescue Squad distinguishes itself through its entirely volunteer-staffed operation, enabling them to offer free service to the Township's community. The Squad also fosters a vibrant Cadet program, providing training and experience to future emergency responders. Their members actively participate in committees and undergo rigorous continuing education to ensure the highest standard of care.
