Teton Literacy Center

Teton Literacy Center is a family literacy center located in Jackson, Wyoming. With 11 employees, the organization serves the community through a range of educational programs. The center offers tutoring, enrichment classes, and special projects for students from pre-K through 12th grade and their families. In the 2009-2010 fiscal year, their programs reached a record 729 children and youth. A notable achievement of their children's after-school tutoring program was helping 75% of students in grades 1 through 5 reach grade-level reading proficiency within a year of participation. Teton Literacy Center is committed to fostering a 100% literate community and strives to empower individuals through the transformative power of literacy.
