Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra

The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra is a professional orchestra located in Terre Haute, Indiana. Founded in 1928, it is the oldest professional orchestra in the state of Indiana. With a staff of 6 employees and a revenue of $50 million, the orchestra comprises 80 professional musicians who are selected through auditions. The orchestra offers a subscription series of classical concerts from September to May and educational concerts for approximately 3,000 fourth-graders from the Wabash Valley region. The Terre Haute Symphony also provides educational resources to local schools to enhance the concert experiences. The organization is guided by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of community leaders, and a paid staff including an Executive Director, Artistic Director/Conductor, Office Manager, Office Assistant, Marketing Manager, Personnel Manager, Librarian, and Composer-in-Residence.
