Teen Talking Circles

Teen Talking Circles is a non-profit organization based in Rollingbay, Washington. Founded in 1993, the organization employs three people and has grown to become a leader in social-emotional learning (SEL). Over the past three decades, Teen Talking Circles has expanded its reach beyond the United States, bringing its philosophy of youth empowerment to communities worldwide. Teen Talking Circles specializes in training facilitators to create "talking circles" where young people can express themselves freely, develop vital socioemotional skills, and build healthy relationships. The organization offers a variety of resources, including three books that have been distributed over 70,000 times globally and translated into Chinese and Turkish. Their programs extend to schools, hospitals, community centers, youth organizations, and even homes. Beyond traditional training sessions, Teen Talking Circles hosts virtual and in-person workshops, retreats, and family events, all designed to cultivate a supportive community dedicated to youth development.
