Team Frysk

Team Frysk is a sports team based in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, comprised of four employees. The team consists of 40 speed skaters, divided into a Top Team focused on long-distance and marathon skating, and a Talent Team. Team Frysk, founded in 2015, specializes in developing speed skating talent at both the long-distance and marathon levels. The Top Team is made up of skaters with national-level experience or significant potential. The Talent Team offers a comprehensive training program to support promising young skaters. In addition to its core training programs, Team Frysk previously operated a youth development platform. This program provided additional training sessions for skaters from local clubs but was restructured in 2022 into a talent selection program to offer more focused support to high-level athletes.
