TAILHOOK ASSOCIATION

The Tailhook Association is a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The organization has six employees. The Tailhook Association is dedicated to supporting aircraft carriers and sea-based aviation. They aim to foster and encourage the development, study, and support of aircraft carriers, fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, and the aircrews of the United States. Additionally, they are committed to educating the public about the importance of aircraft carriers and carrier aviation in the nation's defense system. Through its Tailhook Educational Foundation, the organization provides educational scholarships to children and grandchildren of United States Navy carrier aviation personnel. They also distribute a magazine called "The Hook" to schools nationwide and maintain a historical research library dedicated to carrier aviation.
