St Johns County Council on Aging

The St. Johns County Council on Aging is a nonprofit organization based in Saint Augustine, Florida. With a staff of 26 employees and the support of 700 volunteers, the organization has been serving the community since 1973. The Council on Aging primarily focuses on individuals aged 60 and older, providing a range of services to help them engage in their community, make friends, travel, and continue growing. These services include Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Care, senior centers, and an Integrative Memory Enhancement program. The organization also offers lifelong learning classes and volunteer opportunities to anyone 18 years or older (or younger with supervision). The Council on Aging relies heavily on its dedicated volunteer base to help execute its mission.
