Southeastern Regional Planning

Southeastern Regional Planning (SRPEDD) is a regional planning agency located in Taunton, Massachusetts. Founded in 1968, SRPEDD is a rapidly growing organization with a staff of 35 professional planners serving the 27 municipalities of Southeastern Massachusetts. The agency provides a wide range of services to its member local governments, assisting with projects such as grant writing, program administration, Master Plan development, corridor studies, bylaw updates, and housing production plans. SRPEDD also supports municipal vulnerability preparedness programs, open space and recreation planning, complete streets initiatives, roadway safety audits, traffic counting, and pavement management. In addition to its planning services, SRPEDD serves as the home for the Southeast Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (SMMPO) and the Southeast Regional Homeland Security Advisory Council (SRAC), among other regional bodies.
