Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance

The Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance (SEFAA) is a non-profit organization based in Chamblee, Georgia, a suburb located within the Atlanta metropolitan area. With a small team of five employees, SEFAA is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the diverse world of fiber arts. Their mission is to connect individuals passionate about fiber arts, providing them with a supportive and inspiring environment to learn, create, and share their work. SEFAA offers a wide range of fiber arts programming, including classes, workshops, presentations, and exhibitions. Their offerings cater to all levels of experience and encompass a wide array of fiber arts techniques, such as sewing, quilting, weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, knitting, crocheting, braiding, needlepoint, embroidery, and painting. In addition to these classes, SEFAA also preserves fiber art skills and traditions through inter-generational classes and open studio time. SEFAA’s dedicated center serves as a hub for fiber arts activity in the Southeast. It boasts an extensive library of resources and recently opened a shop featuring donated fiber-craft supplies and artwork created by SEFAA members.
