South Central Task Force

The South Central Task Force (SCTF) is a regional preparedness organization based in South Central Pennsylvania. It is comprised of six employees and operates as a non-profit. The SCTF works to deliver a comprehensive emergency preparedness program for the counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York. Their mission focuses on planning, prevention, response, and recovery for emergencies exceeding local capabilities. SCTF's efforts encompass a wide range of hazards, ensuring preparedness for diverse situations. Financial support for their equipment, planning, training, and exercises comes from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Homeland Security Grant Program.
