SO Health-E is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health equity in Southern Oregon. Based in Medford, Oregon, the organization is a small team of four employees. Since its founding in 2014, SO Health-E has worked to create community partnerships and advocate for systemic change to address health disparities. SO Health-E's work focuses on creating a more equitable healthcare system for underrepresented populations. These include people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and low-income community members. The organization's mission is to amplify the voices of these impacted community members and work collaboratively to achieve lasting change. SO Health-E operates within Jackson and Josephine Counties, partnering with local organizations and residents to identify and address health disparities. The organization seeks to empower communities to advocate for their own health needs and create a more inclusive and equitable healthcare system for all.
