SHPE Rice

SHPE Rice is a student organization based in Houston, Texas. Founded in 1989, the group is dedicated to supporting Mexican American engineers and scientists. The organization provides a community for its members, who are primarily undergraduate students pursuing degrees in engineering or science at Rice University. SHPE Rice has a long history of promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM fields. The group's mission is to increase the number of Hispanic professionals in engineering and science.
