Shoonya

Shoonya is a small, four-employee edutainment and edtech startup located in Santa Barbara, California. Shoonya's mission is to create the next generation of global citizens by exposing children to cultural diversity and world languages through engaging and interactive content. Shoonya develops iOS apps designed for young children. Their recent launch, "Shoonya Farm Animals," focuses on learning farm animal names, simple sentences, landscapes, and basic clothing in nine languages: English, Spanish, German, Arabic, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, and Punjabi. Shoonya plans to expand their app offerings to include additional languages. Prior to "Shoonya Farm Animals," Shoonya released "Hindi Play & Learn," which achieved significant success, featuring multiple times on the app store and rapidly becoming the fastest-growing Hindi app. Both apps are designed to spark creativity, develop fine motor skills, and instill a love for cultural diversity in children aged 0-8.
