SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence Inc. (SADI) is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization headquartered in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. As a non-residential center, SADI focuses on empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently in their homes and communities. SADI offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of its clients. These services encompass information and referral, peer support, advocacy, independent living skills training, employment mentoring, deaf and hard-of-hearing services, door-to-door transportation, GAPS Autism Services, in-home personal care, deaf interpreter referral, nursing home transition assistance, assistive device loans, telephone assistance, speakers bureau, and ADA/504 assessments. SADI's commitment to independence extends to serving a wide geographical area, providing its services in Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Fruitland, Gordonville, Scott City, and Chaffee. Funding for SADI's programs comes from a combination of state/federal grants, foundation contracts, and private donations.
