SCWBEC

The Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition (SCWBEC) is a non-profit organization based in Hauppauge, New York. SCWBEC is a 501(c)(3) organization with 5 to 9 employees. As the oldest and largest networking and business development organization in Suffolk County for female entrepreneurs, SCWBEC provides a platform for Long Island women business owners to connect, grow, and succeed. SCWBEC offers a variety of resources and services to its members, including monthly meetings, events, an annual business EXPO, and business development seminars. The organization also awards two $2,000 grants each year to deserving female entrepreneurs. Membership is open to women who own at least 51% of a business located on Long Island, NY. Associate membership is available for those whose business or residence is located outside of Long Island. SCWBEC is supported through fundraising events and sponsorships. The organization welcomes mission-aligned partners to support its cause at various sponsorship levels.
