Scienspur

Scienspur is a non-profit organization based in the United States. Founded by postdoctoral fellows from Harvard University's Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Scienspur focuses on providing STEM education to economically disadvantaged students attending public colleges and universities in India. The organization has 15 employees and generated $2.5 million in revenue. Scienspur's mission is to foster scientific curiosity in students by teaching fundamental scientific concepts and introducing them to emerging fields. They offer advanced courses, free of tuition, to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are attending public funded schools and colleges. Scienspur's aim is to equip these students with the tools and knowledge to become competitive candidates for prestigious universities, ultimately contributing to research and innovation in various science and technology fields. The Lakshmi Mittal & Family South Asian Institute at Harvard University has generously funded this initiative.
