Schuylkill River Greenway Association

The Schuylkill River Greenway Association is a managing nonprofit organization based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. With a team of 11 employees, the association focuses on the stewardship and preservation of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area. The Schuylkill River Greenway Association manages a 30-mile trail and works to revitalize communities through conservation, recreation, education, cultural and historic preservation, and tourism initiatives. Their mission centers around assisting communities, organizations, and citizens in preserving and sustaining the cultural heritage and natural environment of the Schuylkill River region for future generations. The Schuylkill River National Heritage Area encompasses the Schuylkill River watershed across five counties: Schuylkill, Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia. This region holds national significance due to its role in the American, Industrial, and Environmental Revolutions.
