SAVE Dade

SAVE Dade is a charity based in Miami, Florida, with a team of 2 employees. SAVE Dade is the leading LGBTQ advocacy organization in Miami, Florida. They promote equal rights for all Americans through legislative advocacy, public education, and community outreach. Since its founding in 1993, SAVE Dade has achieved significant victories for LGBTQ rights. The organization successfully defeated a proposed statute that would have banned anti-discrimination ordinances throughout the State of Florida. In 1998, SAVE Dade lobbied for and achieved the passage of an ordinance banning discrimination based on sexual orientation within Miami-Dade County.
