Sandy Hook Promise

Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) is a national nonprofit organization based in Newtown, Connecticut. The organization employs 174 people and generates $15.2 million in annual revenue. SHP focuses on preventing school shootings and creating a culture that reduces violence and harmful acts against children. They offer evidence-informed "Know the Signs" programs designed to educate youth and adults on recognizing, intervening in, and seeking help for individuals who may be at risk of harming themselves or others.
