Safe Harbor

Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered non-profit organization located in Hickory, North Carolina. With a staff of 24 employees, Safe Harbor is dedicated to providing support and resources to women and children in need. They offer a range of programs and services designed to help individuals rebuild their lives and achieve long-term recovery. Safe Harbor provides a number of programs, including the Whole Woman Residential Program, a one-year initiative focused on holistic healing. Their Greenleaf Transitional Housing Program offers low-cost, furnished apartments and life skills training for women and children. The Community Center provides a safe space with services like meals, showers, and laundry facilities. The organization also offers On Purpose Classes at their Renewal Center, which are designed to help individuals discover their purpose and identity in Christ. In addition to its direct services, Safe Harbor operates the ReSource Warehouse, a social enterprise that provides job training and experience to program participants. All revenue generated by the ReSource Warehouse is reinvested back into Safe Harbor's programs and services.
