Rural Health Medical Program Incorporated (RHMPI) is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center located in Uniontown, Alabama. Founded in 1977, RHMPI has grown from a single site serving 10 employees to eight Community Health Center sites and a Medical Mobile Unit, employing over 60 individuals. RHMPI provides comprehensive primary healthcare and dental services to residents of Dallas, Perry, Wilcox, Marengo, Monroe, and Clarke counties in rural Alabama. Their mission is to expand access to care for medically underserved populations, regardless of their ability to pay. RHMPI accepts public and private insurance, and utilizes a Sliding Fee Scale Policy based on U.S. Federal Poverty guidelines for uninsured and underinsured individuals.
