Rubell Museum

The Rubell Museum is a leading art institution located in Miami, Florida. With a team of 9 employees, the museum focuses on showcasing contemporary art through a variety of exhibitions and programs. The Rubell Museums' primary offering is the Rubell family's expansive collection, one of the world’s largest privately owned, publicly accessible contemporary art collections. This extensive collection is presented through annual exhibitions in Miami, featuring a wide array of contemporary artists. In addition to exhibitions, the museum houses an artist-in-residence program established in 2011. This program aims to support emerging artists, provide a platform for diverse contemporary voices, and foster public engagement with art. In 2022, the Rubell family opened a second museum in Washington, D.C., featuring galleries, a bookstore, and dedicated spaces for community events, talks, and workshops.
