RSVP

RSVP is a non-profit organization based in Fairfield, Iowa, with 21 employees. RSVP connects volunteers aged 55 and older with community needs, matching their skills and interests to create meaningful service opportunities. Volunteers can choose the amount of time they wish to dedicate and the type of service they prefer, utilizing their life experiences and potentially acquiring new skills in the process. The organization offers a wide range of service opportunities, including work with organizations such as the American Gothic House, Americorps Green Iowa weatherization, Art Walk, Community garden, Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, Fair Field Productions, Fairfield Public Library, Habitat for Humanity/ReStore, Hospice, Iowa State Extension, Maharishi School, Milestones/Senior Center, Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center, Noah's Ark, Pence Elementary School mentoring/pen pal/tutoring, The Lord's Cupboard food pantry, Vietnam Wall That Heals, and VITA tax service.
