Region 4 ESC

Region 4 Education Service Center, also known as Region 4, is a nonregulatory intermediate education unit based in Houston, Texas. Established in 1967, the organization employs 553 people and generates an annual revenue of $100 million. Region 4 provides support to 48 public school districts and 37 open-enrollment charter schools across a seven-county area. Their services are designed to assist these schools in improving student performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing initiatives mandated by the Texas Legislature or Commissioner of Education.
