Recovery is Happening

Recovery Is Happening is a non-profit organization based in Rochester, Minnesota. Founded in 2011, the organization employs four people and generates an annual revenue of $1 million. Recovery Is Happening focuses on supporting individuals in long-term recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. They host a yearly "Recovery Is Happening Walk/Run and Rally" during National Recovery Month, which has grown to include collaborations with various communities, businesses, and funding organizations. The organization also works with a network of nineteen recovery service providers in southeastern Minnesota and five treatment providers from other regions of the state. Tiffany Hunsley founded Recovery Is Happening after her research revealed a lack of support and collaboration for individuals in long-term recovery in southeastern Minnesota. Driven by this need, Hunsley mobilized the local recovery community to raise awareness and create a supportive network.
