Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun

Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun is a non-profit organization located in Mesa, Arizona. The organization is comprised of eight employees. Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun provides critical home repairs and safety modifications to low-income families, seniors, and veterans across the Phoenix metro area. Their services focus on falls prevention, safety, and weatherproofing. In addition to home repairs, they also engage in neighborhood revitalization efforts that benefit the community at large. The organization utilizes a three-pronged approach to fulfilling its mission: volunteer labor, donated materials, and private and corporate contributions. They install grab bars and wheelchair ramps for individuals with mobility difficulties and beautify parks and public spaces. Since its inception in 1991, Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun has engaged over 60,000 volunteers and generated $7 million in repairs for over 1,900 homes and 60 nonprofit facilities.
