Reach Our Youth

Reach Our Youth (ROY) is a non-profit organization based in Norwalk, Ohio. The organization is comprised of a small team of three employees. ROY is dedicated to providing one-on-one mentoring to troubled youth in Huron County, Ohio. They connect dedicated volunteers with children aged 6 to 18 who are in need of positive role models and extra support. These volunteers engage with their mentees in a big brother/big sister relationship, providing companionship, guidance, and shared activities. ROY emphasizes the importance of building strong, lasting relationships between volunteers and youth. Volunteers commit to spending at least two hours per contact, visiting their mentees three to four times a month for a minimum of six months. The organization also hosts group activities several times a year, fostering a sense of community among its members. Additionally, ROY sponsors a Courthouse Christmas Giving Tree, distributing donations to needy families involved in the program.
