PRSM

PRSM is a small dance organization based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. With 5 to 9 employees, PRSM was founded to revive the urban dance community in the area following the closure of several prominent organizations. Driven by a desire to create a cohesive space for dancers to connect and develop, PRSM aims to provide a haven for artistic growth and collaboration. PRSM's mission centers around showcasing the talents of North Carolina's dance community while simultaneously fostering connections with dancers from across the nation. They achieve this by providing opportunities for local dancers to perform and connect with a wider audience, and by inviting dancers from other regions to participate in workshops and events, enriching the local dance scene. The name "PRSM" is a testament to the organization's multifaceted approach. Just as a prism can separate light into its component colors before reassembling them into a unified beam, PRSM celebrates the diversity within the dance community while also uniting dancers under a shared passion for the art form.
