Project ESCOLAR

Project ESCOLAR is a research and development initiative headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, comprised of three employees. Funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs, this five-year project, operating from 2013 to 2018, is dedicated to improving science education opportunities, particularly for middle school students facing learning disabilities. This project, undertaken by the University of Oregon's Center for Equity Promotion in collaboration with Georgia Southern University, aims to equip students with valuable 21st-century skills, foster excellence in science, and prepare them for successful college and career paths. Project ESCOLAR accomplishes these goals by providing high-quality science education units and technological resources.
