Programs After School, Inc. is a company based in Thousand Oaks, California. It was formerly a small business with 5 to 9 employees. Programs After School focused on providing high-quality STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) lessons online. The company offered innovative and engaging STEAM classes that combined elements of Montessori and Waldorf educational philosophies. Their curriculum covered a range of subjects, including science, art history, drawing, and painting. Programs After School aimed to make learning fun and exciting for students while fostering their creativity and innovation. Programs After School distinguished itself through its team of NASA/JPL certified STEM educators who incorporated the "A" in STEAM. The educators actively participated in continuing education workshops and certification programs with renowned institutions such as NASA, SCAAPT, UCLA, Texas A&M, and the National Space Society. This ensured that their curriculum remained cutting-edge and relevant, integrating current topics from fields like quantum physics, aerospace materials design, and earth science. Unfortunately, Programs After School permanently closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent school campus closures.
