Profession Sport et Loisirs Poitou-Charentes is a non-profit organization based in France. Founded in 1990, the organization has grown to employ three people. Profession Sport et Loisirs Poitou-Charentes supports the development of quality management within sports associations and clubs. They achieve this by facilitating the sharing of employee time and costs, providing guidance on employment practices, and offering comprehensive training and professional development opportunities. The organization also assists members with administrative tasks related to employment. Profession Sport et Loisirs Poitou-Charentes was formed through a series of mergers and expansions. Initially, APSL17 was established in 1990, focusing on developing activities related to sports and leisure. Over time, APSL17 expanded its scope to include animation. In 1999, a grouping of employers in the sports and leisure sector was created, eventually becoming Profession Sport & Loisirs Groupement d’Employeurs in 2008.
