Presbyterian Hospitality House is a non-profit organization based in Fairbanks, Alaska. With 31 employees, the organization has a mission dedicated to providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for Alaskan youth. Presbyterian Hospitality House offers a community-based treatment program designed as an alternative to institutional placement. The organization aims to equip youth with essential life skills, such as vocational, social, academic, self-care, and family living skills, empowering them to successfully reintegrate into society. They achieve this through a unique approach known as the Teaching Family Model™, developed by the Bureau of Child Research at the University of Kansas.
