Porta Nova

Porta Nova is a non-profit organization based in the United States. Comprised of four employees, the association focuses its efforts on developing national and international volunteer projects within the realm of health awareness and education. Porta Nova primarily serves students from the School of Medicine at the University of Minho. Their programs aim to educate and empower these students through volunteer opportunities, both domestically and internationally. The organization strives to cultivate a sense of global responsibility amongst future medical professionals. A key aspect of Porta Nova's mission is to equip student volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge to promote and educate others about health.
