Polk Institute Foundation

The Polk Institute Foundation is a non-profit organization based in the United States. As a 501(c)(3) entity, it operates with a mission to empower social entrepreneurs and contribute to a better world. The foundation employs a small team of four individuals. Polk Institute Foundation specializes in providing comprehensive training and instruction in social entrepreneurship. Their unique three-phase program, encompassing the Master Level Academy, Mentorship/Training Accelerator, and Capital Funding Program, equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to launch and grow socially impactful businesses. The program is tuition-free and primarily targets Black & Brown Founders, ranging from startups to established Legacy Businesses. A key differentiator of Polk Institute Foundation is its Practitioner/Mentor driven cohort-model approach. This model fosters a collaborative learning environment, leveraging the experience and expertise of seasoned practitioners to guide and support participants. While the program primarily caters to Black & Brown Founders, it welcomes any motivated individual interested in social entrepreneurship who is committed to the learning process.
