PLUS, formerly known as Paid Leave for the U.S. (PL+US), is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California. Employing 10 people, the organization was founded in 2016. PLUS focused its efforts on advocating for paid family and medical leave for all working individuals in the United States. During its five-year operation, PLUS successfully secured paid leave benefits for 8.5 million employees at major companies nationwide. The organization also made significant strides in advancing federal policy on paid leave, achieving a historic passage in the House of Representatives. In the summer of 2022, PLUS concluded its operations.
