PHIT America

PHIT America is a non-profit organization headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland. The organization is led by Sports Industry Hall of Fame Inductee Jim Baugh and employs a team of four individuals. PHIT America is dedicated to combating inactivity among children by increasing sports and fitness participation. Their primary program, the GO! Grants initiative, aims to revitalize physical education programs in schools. Recognizing that physical education has been eliminated from over 50% of schools, PHIT America provides funding to rebuild these programs, recognizing the positive impact on both children's health and academic performance. To date, PHIT America has awarded over 600 GO! Grants, benefiting over 300,000 children at a cost of less than $10 per child.
