People Attentive To Children, also known as PATCH, is a non-profit organization based in Urban Honolulu, Hawaii. With a small team of 9 employees, PATCH provides essential support to families and communities throughout the state. PATCH serves as Hawaii’s Statewide Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) Agency, offering a wide range of services to parents and child care providers. Their mission is to help families find, plan for, and access quality child care options. This includes connecting parents with licensed child care providers, offering information and resources on child development and early learning, and supporting the development of a strong child care system in Hawaii. As the only Hawaii member of the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRA), PATCH collaborates with a national network of experts and organizations to ensure that families in Hawaii have access to the best possible resources.
