Peer Tutors Society

Peer Tutors Society is a student-led initiative operating under the Office of the Associate Dean of the College of Computer Studies. Founded in 2002, PTS is based in the United States. With five employees, the organization serves the academic community by providing tutoring services. PTS focuses on offering tutoring sessions, both individual and group, to first- and second-year students enrolled in math and computer studies courses. Their volunteer tutors undergo a selection, training, and qualification process to ensure they are equipped to effectively support students' learning journeys. The organization aims to foster a service-oriented environment where knowledge sharing and academic enrichment are paramount. PTS strives to inspire the development of both tutors and tutees through dedicated training programs, ultimately promoting excellence within the field of computer studies.
