PCC OMIC Training Center

PCC OMIC Training Center is a training center based in Scappoose, Oregon, and is a part of the larger Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center initiative. The center is comprised of a small team of 4 employees. PCC OMIC Training Center focuses on providing a range of manufacturing-related training programs to prepare Oregon's workforce for careers in advanced manufacturing. These programs include both traditional career and technical education training as well as apprenticeship models that combine on-the-job training with classroom and lab instruction. The center aims to equip students with the skills needed to secure high-demand manufacturing jobs. The Training Center distinguishes itself through its industry-driven curriculum that aligns with the current and future needs of Oregon employers. With an emphasis on craftsmanship, professionalism, and job placement, students can earn an associate's degree or certificate, potentially leading to an advanced degree, as well as complete an apprenticeship program.
