Patsy T Mink Center for Business Leadership MCBL

The Patsy T. Mink Center for Business Leadership (MCBL), a non-profit organization based in Urban Honolulu, Hawaii, works to empower women in the business world. With a small team of four employees, the MCBL serves as the only Women’s Business Center (WBC) in Hawaii. The center provides a comprehensive range of services designed to help women entrepreneurs thrive. This includes one-on-one business counseling, innovative workshops, and specialized programs tailored to the unique needs of women in business. The MCBL aims to create a supportive and nurturing environment where women can develop their entrepreneurial skills and achieve their business goals. Established through a collaboration between YWCA O‘ahu, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and community partners, the MCBL was named in honor of Patsy T. Mink, a prominent advocate for women's rights and legislative reform. The center carries on her legacy by striving to level the playing field for women entrepreneurs and support their success.
