Pasadena Schools Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative based in Pasadena, California. The credit union has 26 employees and serves the Pasadena area and surrounding communities. PSFCU offers a range of financial products and services, including loans, deposits, and other financial tools, to members in the Pasadena area. The credit union was originally chartered to serve the unique banking needs of Pasadena Unified School District and Pasadena City College faculty and staff, and has since expanded to serve the broader community. In 2009, Vernon Commerce Federal Credit Union was acquired and continues to operate as a division of PSFCU. As a member-owned institution, PSFCU prioritizes returning earnings to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher interest on deposits, and lower fees.
