PanAfrican Community Development Initiative

Pan-African Community Development Initiative, Inc. is a grassroots organization based in the Bronx, New York. The company, founded in 2013, employs 5 to 9 people. Pan-African CDI works to promote economic advancement for low-income and immigrant communities in New York. They achieve this through a variety of services, training, and education programs, as well as through their community-run credit union, Pan-African Federal Credit Union. Pan-African FCU is a low-income designated credit union, serving the African immigrant population and the economic revitalization of the Bronx. Pan-African CDI's mission is to combat poverty and underemployment within the African immigrant community in New York. They aim to achieve this by addressing economic illiteracy and implementing programs that rebuild communities and reorient the ownership of local resources.
