Pamplin Leadership Development Team

Pamplin Leadership Development Team (PLDT) is a student-led organization based in Blacksburg, Virginia. Comprised of 24 student leaders and guided by faculty advisor Professor Ron Poff, PLDT is structured into five committees focused on education, corporate relations, public relations, materials, and hospitality. The team focuses on leadership development and education, both within the Virginia Tech community and beyond. Their flagship project is the annual Pamplin Student Leadership Conference, held at the Inn. This event brings together driven student leaders and industry professionals for an interactive and educational experience. PLDT also hosts workshops open to all students on career-related topics and extends its reach to local high schools with leadership, resume development, and college preparation workshops.
