Oregon Tradeswomen

Oregon Tradeswomen is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1989, the organization has grown to employ 38 people. Oregon Tradeswomen is dedicated to supporting women in pursuing careers in the building, mechanical, electrical, and utility trades. They offer a range of programs and activities designed to empower women at various stages of their career journeys. These include Pathways to Success, which provides career counseling, employment services, and education; Building Girls, which encourages young women to consider trades careers; Tradeswomen Organized for Outreach, Leadership and Support (TOOLS), which focuses on leadership development for tradeswomen; and The Women in Trades Career Fair, an annual event showcasing trades careers. The organization's mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency for women through trades careers and to encourage the trades industry to build a more diverse workforce.
