Oregon State University Foundation

The Oregon State University Foundation is a nonprofit organization located in Corvallis, Oregon. Established in 1948 and celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2023, the Foundation employs over 165 professionals and is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Foundation works closely with Oregon State University to cultivate relationships with alumni and friends, inspire investment, and manage resources to amplify the university's impact. As the fundraising arm of Oregon State University, the Foundation seeks to channel the generosity of donors towards student and faculty support, facilities and equipment, and strategic university initiatives. The Foundation oversees an endowment of over $827 million and manages assets exceeding $1 billion. In fiscal year 2023 alone, donors contributed $168.7 million to support the university's mission. A testament to its success, the Foundation has fostered over 500 donors who have contributed $1 million or more cumulatively, exceeding $3 billion in total private support. In 2017, the Foundation integrated the OSU Alumni Association, a legacy dating back to 1873, further solidifying its commitment to the university community. Currently, the Foundation is leading "Believe It: The Campaign for OSU," a comprehensive fundraising and engagement campaign with a $1.75 billion goal.
