Opera Ithaca

Opera Ithaca is a brand-new opera company based in Ithaca, New York. Founded in 2014, the company is a collaboration of local talent and resources, led by Artistic Director Lynn Craver and General Director Zachary James, both Ithaca College alumni. Opera Ithaca employs a staff of four individuals. Opera Ithaca aims to bring professional opera productions to Ithaca and the surrounding Finger Lakes region. Their offerings include distinctive and theatrically driven performances of diverse operas, as well as concerts, lectures, educational outreach programs, and special events. The company strives to enrich the local arts community by providing a consistent platform for classical vocal music.
